Opportunity with Lions Club
On September 15th, our team had the opportunity to present to one of our generous sponsors, the Eden Prairie Lions Club. We were excited to share more about who we are, what we do, and the goals we are working toward this season. It was a great chance to connect with the members, thank them for their continued support, and give them a better understanding of the impact their sponsorship has on our team.
Our Presentation
During the presentation, we explained how our team functions, from outreach and fundraising/sponsorships to design, programming, and building. We were able to share our season process for both build and business. Sharing our process also helped show how much effort goes into not just building a robot, but running the team as a whole.
Lefty Time!
Of course, we got to show off our robot, Lefty. We demonstrated some of Lefty’s capabilities and answered questions about how it was built. Overall, the event was an amazing opportunity to show our appreciation and celebrate the hard work we’ve put into our team and robot this year.
